Have YOU bought your ticket yet to Bridles & Bow Ties?
Saturday May 19th is THE event of the season and is held right here at Dream Catchers! The B & BT Committee likes bright pink and bright green which are not my best colors, but I do look great in the brown leather bow tie!
Don’t miss the article in Saturday’s VA Gazette
Don’t miss the article in Saturday’s VA Gazette – my friends Selah and Beth are super stars!!!! If you haven’t seen the paper…you can read the feature in our IN THE NEWS section of our web site!
Have y’all met Sandy Webster?
She is at Dream Catchers for a couple weeks teaching the PATH Intl certifications/workshops, as well as a LEAD Seminar and other really cool training. Sandy is one of 18 PATH Intl Certified Master Instructors in the world – WOW! And she is a former jockey – but I bet she’s never ridden a pony like me! That would be the best ride of her life – no doubt!
Bye Jake
“Walk On” in heaven my friend Jake…your years of faithful service to our Dream Catchers Family will be your legacy…we will miss you!
My pal Nobie has a new pasture buddy…..
Y’all might ask …Why do the instructors move horses to different pastures? I asked myself that last week when my BFF Nobie went to Bob’s pasture. Horses and ponies are herd animals, so pasture dynamics are very important. If the instructors think that the dynamics need to change (like maybe Nobie and I played too hard and were too rambunctious….), they will move us around. When they move horses into new herds, you may see the new horse inside of a green corral. This lets us check each other out in a safe manner for a trial period. So Nobie my friend, I will miss you….but now Lark is MY girlfriend and we can be sweethearts without you trying to steal her from me.
