10th Annual Run for the Brain Offers Family Fun and Exciting Raffle Prize

Oct 18, 2011

Lace up your running shoes and bring the whole family out to enjoy the beautiful fall weather all for a good cause.

The 10th Annual Run for the Brain 5K will be Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Park East in Governor’s Land on Route 5 in Williamsburg. Registration is $25 in advance. Proceeds from the race benefit Dream Catchers.
There’s something for everyone. For runners, it’s the fastest 5K on the Peninsula. For families, there will be games and a one-mile Fun Run/Walk before the race.

Even more exciting this year is our raffle prize – a stunning right-hand 14K gold diamond ring designed and donated by Designs by Varujan valued at $2,900. Raffle tickets may be purchased online for $10 each or $25 for three.

Thank you to John Varujan DeMelkon at Designs by Varujan for donating this year’s raffle prize and to all of our community sponsors including: Advance Path Academics, CDGCommerce, Bruce’s Super Body Shop, Guild Hall of Williamsburg, Tree of Life, Williamsburg OB/GYN, Colonial Sports, EquiKneads, Farm Credit, Marley Numbers with Long & Foster, Northwestern Mutual, Printwell, Arlie Pritchard with Scott & Stringfellow, and Lyle Schiavone with the Williamsburg Financial Group.
